This will be a fast pace demo introducing or refreshing  you to some of my favorite materials in the studio when I begin to build surfaces for my paintings and works on paper. We will go over  approaching a blank canvas, mark-making, working wet on wet, and mono printing using water media and oil.  I will introduce tools and methods to add and subtract paint and marks. Opacity and transparent, warm and cool and layering will be addressed. I will also include work in process that are dry to demonstrate what happens next.
