What Remains
Though my work is abstract, What Remains confronts themes of grief and mourning. I encourage close inspection of the surface: it reveals intricate details and meticulous mark-making along with smoke, burns and sewing with red thread. These methods transform my works into artifacts, generating a visceral allure through their handmade qualities and palpable tactility.
